Some sessions just leave you smiling long after the last photo is taken, and this was definitely one of them.

This beautiful family was one of the Saint Peter’s Art for Autism show raffle winners, a cause close to many hearts in our community and one I am always happy to support. We weren’t able to get their session scheduled last fall, but when they reached out this summer to book for the fall, I couldn’t resist, I had to suggest a summer session with the new puppy I knew they had! Puppy sessions are some of the most fun (and adorable!) sessions, and any chance I get to encourage clients to do them, I will. As we all know, they grow so fast! Capturing them in those early days is always such a treasure. I was so happy when they said “yes.”

We met up just before sunset, a beautiful family of six - Mom, Dad, son, daughter, one sweet older pup, and a bouncing baby puppy. It was the perfect blend of sweetness and chaos.

They made my job easy, overflowing with joy, laughter, and love. And that new puppy? Already stealing everyone’s hearts, including mine.

Sessions like this are such a reminder that photos aren’t just about how we look, they’re about capturing the energy of a chapter you’ll want to remember.

To the Gee family: thank you for such a fun evening and for letting me document this sweet season in your lives. I hope these images bring you right back to this golden night for years to come.
