Welcome Baby Bennett

The past 10 years have been full of beautiful moments, golden light, growing families, and somehow, in the midst of it all, I haven’t shared nearly enough. Today, I’ve decided to start blogging some of my sessions from this year (not full galleries, just a select few). These memories deserve to be seen and remembered.

I'm starting with a lovely in-home newborn session from March 2025. I figured it would feel more natural (and doable!) to begin with this year’s sessions, though don’t be surprised if a throwback or two sneaks its way in.

This sweet family lives just a few houses down from us, and it was an honor to document this joyful chapter in their lives. After a long journey to grow their family, they welcomed their second child, baby Bennett.

Bennett’s big sister, Addie (who was 4 in these photos), was glowing with pride in her new role. Watching her snuggle up and help with her baby brother was pure magic.

I also loved including their dog in a few of the portraits, it added even more warmth and personality to the session. There’s just something about in-home sessions that brings out a different kind of beauty.

To share the full circle of this family’s story, I’ve also added a few images from their maternity session captured in November 2024.
